Fans and Friends Celebrate Rapper Mark Tuan's 27th Birthday

American rapper Mark Tuan turned 27 on September 4 and fans took to social media to send him greetings and best wishes. The GOT7 member himself has not posted anything about his birthday on his social media accounts, but the online world celebrated the special occasion with him.

His bandmate BamBam tweeted his greeting, writing: "Happy Birthday my boy!!" More than 50,000 users have retweeted his post, with more than 9,000 greetings from fans posted in the comments.

Viral K-Pop media company Koreboo also posted their greeting on Twitter, writing: "We are so incredibly proud of all you’ve accomplished. Stay happy, healthy, and safe!"

Born in Los Angeles, Tuan left the U.S. in 2010 and spent 10 years in South Korea where he trained as a performer and became a member of the South Korean boy group GOT7 in 2014.

The group toured in over 17 countries and their videos have amassed more than two billion views on YouTube.

His return to the United States

The Taiwanese-American rapper returned to Los Angeles in 2021, shortly after GOT7\"s departure from longtime agency JYP Entertainment. He signed with American talent agency Creative Artists Agency (CAA), which handles A-list celebrities, including Ariana Grande, Aisha Tyler, SuperM and NCT 127.

Tuan recently then released his single "One In A Million" featuring Bangladeshi-American artist Sanjoy. 

Besides singing and rapping, Tuan dabbled in composing and producing. He is also a designer with two clothing lines under his belt.

Aside from the U.S. and South Korea, Tuan is also famous in China. He even established Mark Tuan Studio in China.

He has appeared in several international shows such as KBS World’s "Battles Likes," SBS’s "Law Of The Jungle" and Mnet’s "I Can See Your Voice." Among his accolades was the Hot Star award at the 2019 Weibo Starlight Awards.
