A Notebook May Give Clues to Couple's Mysterious Deaths

In the wake of Brian Laundrie's tragic death, many questions remain unanswered.

But a notebook discovered near his remains in a Florida nature reserve park may provide clues.

According to crime experts, the notebook may tell more about his disappearance as well as the death of his fiancée, Gabby Petito.

CNN senior law enforcement analyst Andrew McCabe said that the notebook may contain notes revealing Laundrie's motives as his feelings about Petito and the events in Wyoming.

Petito, a blogger, went on a road trip with Laundrie in July. Laundrie disappeared after Petito was reported missing.

On September 19, nearly two weeks after she was reported missing, she was found strangled in a Wyoming national park.

Meanwhile, Laundrie's family reported him missing on September 17. His remains, as confirmed by the FBI, were found on October 21 at the Carlton Reserve in North Port.
