The much-talked-about post-credits scene reportedly reveals that Venom is now part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

A photo of Tom Hardy, who plays Venom, wearing a "Spider-Man: No Way Home" hat only served to fuel the speculations.

The new Spider-Man movie will hit cinemas on December 17, 2021. An alleged leak from the movie has also caused a stir online.

An official teaser trailer for the movie was released on August 24, sending fans into a frenzy.

As for the post-credits scene of "Venom: Let There Be Carnage," Hardy earlier appealed to movie fans to refrain from spoiling the post-credit scene,

The actor reportedly said:

"There is something, possibly, at the end of this movie that you might see that has become something of a tradition in these movies. What you see here, when you leave here, let it stay here. Will you promise me that whatever you see at the end of this movie, during the credits, you will let it stay here and not tweet it?"
