Internet Is Abuzz Over Leaked Photos of Kobe Bryant's Helicopter Crash

Many online users appear to be taking to the web to search for leaked photos from the crash site where legendary NBA star Kobe Bryant died along with his daughter and seven other people.

This, after the Los Angeles County agreed to pay $2.5 million in settlement to two families whose relatives perished in a helicopter crash last year, as reported by ESPN.

The Altobelli and Mauser families filed lawsuits alleging that graphic photographs of the scene reportedly taken or shared by Los Angeles County sheriff's deputies and firefighters caused them emotional distress.

Bryant's widow Vanessa also filed a similar lawsuit, which is ongoing.

On Jan. 26, 2020, Bryant, his daughter Gianna, 13, and others were flying to a girls basketball tournament in the Calabasas hills west of Los Angeles when their helicopter crashed.

According to federal safety officials, a pilot error caused the crash.
